Being in the field of child care as an RECE since 1988 and RECE Director since 2010 has shown me the children's innocent sense of humour and truth and insight to how they explore the world around them. When we provide the experiences and the environment to play and engage; watching and hearing the children learn and grow from this brings pride and joy. As a Director with an awesome, caring Team that is there to learn, it is rewarding to see the endearing engagement, to hear them laugh at the innocent humour of their group and to hear their excitement when a child accomplishes something. From seeing them implementing simple or complex lessons/advice for growth whether it's from a workshop or a one-on-one, to problem solving and simply..... just taking time to laugh together. Sure there are times when our gears clog and don't mesh, but when resolved as a Team, that is a proud moment
